I contacted Escort they promised a filter to fix the issue but have not obtained it but. Unit fails to go on mute/reduced sound when close to door openers at supermarkets. This is an awfully pricey unit to have these considerations. While doing analysis online found out that I am not the one one with this issue. Customer fortify was very nice but I even have no longer got the part to repair the problem. I consider the unit should were examined at the manufacturing facility before mass producing.
